Collection: Raw Suri Alpaca Fiber

Straight off the SURI alpaca after shearing, this fiber is a delight for the spinner who likes to enjoy the whole fiber processing experience. Available from white to fawn.

We lightly skirt the fiber as it is sheared and then lay on a skirting table to shake out more dust. Alpacas love to roll on the dust to keep cool, so we get out as much as we can for you. We prefer to wash our fiber before we spin. This is SURI alpaca fiber.

Alpaca fiber can be felted, made into batts, made into roving, or spun as is.
