Daily Reflections From My Window

December 25, 2021 Saturday Christmas Day!

“My brothers and sisters, may the spirit of love which comes at Christmastime fill our homes and our lives and linger there long after the tree is down and the lights are put away for another year.”

Thomas S. MonsonMerry Christmas! Enjoy today with your families. Stay dry and celebrate the miracle of the birth of our Savior. Santa brought our little babe to complete the Nativities. Mom regaled Him with a glitter halo and white velvet swaddling. As a kid, I adored looking at this little one. The fabric Calendar is complete.

As is the church’s.

And many of our others.

And this brings the message to me every year. It wasn’t the best place to have a baby, even WITH extra bedding. Animals lived and did their business there. But our savior was born there. May have been cleaner than this one, but God reminds me every time I sweep of humility.

In the meantime, remember that every single day is a gift. I’m off to wake my family!

Have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas!
