“May every sunrise bring you to hope, may every sunset bring you peace.”
Even sunrises like this bring me hope. I woke up to see it and actually waited. It will probably get even better as time goes on. There’s a rumor that it’s supposed to be in the low 60s today.
Mary isn’t sure. Looks like there may be precipitation in her forecast, though just the pink seems to have brightened, and the weather stick is slightly raised at the tip. Even my weather gurus are baffled.
Even the pig is still-no sun.
That must mean that it’s a great day to get back to fiber and sock labeling. That kind of got away from me yesterday. Not sure how, but it did. Oh I know how! Old and dear friends called yesterday and we talked instead of texted. That was nice. Then I took a nice walk with Kathy and we caught up. That was nice. She’s been so busy with her new grandson and grand dogs that we rarely get a chance to walk. I have to remember to log it into my 99Walks App. It’s recorded, but I forgot to bring my phone with me.
The Bottle Works is having a Small Business Saturday event after Thanksgiving and I needed to get my form and check there yesterday, so after our walk I headed to drop it off. That’s what you do in a small town. You drop it off so that you can say “Hi!”. You don’t mail it. I like that. On my way home, I drove by Central Park and they are getting ready for Light Up Night. The little houses are all placed and it’s getting there. I noticed that the lights were on in the coffee shop so I stopped to say hi. They weren’t open, but Jack and Madison were there, doing a deep clean of the space and equipment. You can be assured that that’s one of the reasons H Wonder Coffee and Records has the best tasting coffee in town. They have new Holiday hours, so check out the link.
Today, I start adding things back to both my body and my closet. What I can and can’t eat should become second nature. I’m not so good at organizing but I try, and when things have a place, that brings me peace.
Jay made the first fire of the year. It was cozy and welcome!
I ended the night with my detox bath and it felt amazing-for the first time ever. I may have to do that more. For now, it’s organizing-socks, my closet, and fiber!
In the meantime, do something you’ve never done before. Find your passion and explore it. Every single day is a gift. I’m off to tend my passion.
Check out the sunset tonight. I here there may even be a full moon the next few days.
Have a blessed day!
