“Everyone should experience a sunrise at least once a day.”
Phil Dunphy (from Modern Dad)
I’m so grateful to be able to share my morning view with you. Sometimes it’s sunrise and sometimes it’s later. Today was sunrise and it took me a few tries.
I really don’t have much to report. Yesterday we spent a good part of the day cleaning up leaves and it seems it was just in time. The leaves seemed to have dropped overnight to accommodate us. I hear snow is in the forecast the next few days. 8 years ago at this time, according to picture memories, we had quite a bit of snow. Brr. It’s only barely 30* right now and rainy. Good day to hunker down and get inside chores accomplished.
New socks are here, but I still have to label them and load them. They are 40%Alpaca/40%Merino Wool/20% Nylon and made by Denise Williams of Something Beautiful Handcrafts. I send her yarn made from our alpacas that I’ve had mill spun and then dyed myself and she knits them on her antique knitting machine. I found her through one of my fiber groups and she is so talented. Right now she is working on restoring American Girl dolls and does a great job, so you might want to contact her if you would like to hire her services. Here’s a link to her YouTube Channel. She’s got videos about things fiber related and many on the doll restoration. Give it a look. Who knows, you may have an American Girl doll in your attic in need of a little TLC.
As usual, I’m still going back and forth on whether to post on FB or not. Feedback is welcome.
Have a blessed day!
