Daily Reflections From My Window

November 8, 2021 Monday Patience and Gratitude

“If I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with.”

L. Frank Baum “The Wizard of Oz”

We live in a very special place and I am so grateful to be able to share it with you. This view! It’s a beautiful time of the year as we, and nature transition to colder temps. Soon we’ll be looking at snow. Right now, Jay is in the midst of leaf clean up and we’re both enjoying the warmer temperatures and the sunshine we have to get things done before we won’t want to enjoy so much time outside.

I’m still in the throes of website transition and this time, there are a lot more steps. When you see how streamlined it will be compared to this one (and hopefully how much easier it is to navigate), you’ll probably ask what took so long. Believe me, it’s not my forte’ but it’s one of those things that has to be done so that I can get back to creating. I turned on the tv yesterday before heading to in-person church and this came on. I love Charles Stanley. He was talking about patience and how it really is a virtue. Of course he was using this sentiment in our relationship with God, but it pretty much works for most things, wouldn’t you agree?

So I know you want socks and you want them now. I want that too. I’m almost there. Before you know it, they’ll be on your feet. In the meantime, do something you’ve never done before. Find your passion and explore it. Every single day is a gift. I’m off to tend my passion. Enjoy this incredible weather.

Have a blessed day!
