“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Leonardo da Vinci

I always get mixed up with what time it is this time of year. Funny, nature doesn’t. The sun still comes up, life goes on. Simple.

I still set my alarm, just in case, but didn’t need it because my body gets up at the same time no matter what. I think that’s a good thing. So, still updating my tech issues and hopefully will finish today. Yesterday was amazingly beautiful and it looks like we have a few more days of it this week. Jay set to putting the camper to sleep for the cold winter nights ahead. Last night we watched YouTube about…you guessed it! Tiny campers. There are so many! We’re glad we got the one we got. He’s tucked away and safe. All he needs to do is put his cover on and he’ll be finished.

I had a few errands to do, so I stopped in at H. Wonder Coffee and Records to get a cup of lavender hot chocolate. It was yummy! The place looks great and business was very steady all day. Give it a try if you haven’t already. The little Christmas houses are being constructed too for Light Up Night in town. When I got back, we took a walk to check the new trees Jay planted for the bees. Lindon trees seem to be what they like. They flower in August when other plants are finished. Unfortunately, the deer rubbed all over them and damaged the bark. Jay wrapped them with special tape and put barbed wire around them to try to deter further damage. I like how the branches are opposite each other. It makes the little tree look like a candelabra. We also chatted with a neighbor, Al, whom we hadn’t seen for a while and got caught up. That was nice. He was collecting leaves and doing yard work. It was a great day for it.

Today I’m off to church. Then back here to keep on making progress.

In the meantime, do something you’ve never done before. Find your passion and explore it. Every single day is a gift. I’m off to tend my passion. Keep it simple.

Have a blessed day!
