“To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.”
Joseph Chilton Pearce
I’ve been sitting here for the better part of and hour, looking over the news, my feed, emails…looking for inspiration, and finally with the verse above, may have found some.
I’ve been sort of paralyzed in my creativity lately. I don’t know why, but it happens now and then. I have a fiber show coming up this weekend and have been just dry. I don’t know if it has to do with the state of the world, the state of my fiber room, or something else. I think it does have to do with the lack of interaction with people. Some people thrive in this kind of environment. I don’t think I do! So today, it’s nose to the grindstone for me!
Last night, I attended the Westmont Theater Club’s play. Those kids are very talented. We went to see our friend Molli and she (and the whole cast!) was wonderful! She’s in the pink. No fear there!
It’s so inspiring to see these wide eyed performers giving their all, despite wearing masks and to a limited audience. Their futures are so bright and they are so very talented! They all did a tremendous job and Molli has several more years of productions ahead. I’m looking forward to what’s next!
Here are some peach blossoms from my friend Amy. She has the most amazing green thumb and beautiful plants at her house! Her trimmings are a real treat!
Just a lazy day around here today. Well, for the alpacas! It’s fantastic to see the sun and the daffodils still blooming like crazy. I’ll be hitting the studio and sorting through my stash to prepare for the fiber event on Saturday. If you need me, you know where to find me.
In the meantime, remember to wash your hands, don’t touch your face, stay home but if you MUST go out, wear a mask and keep the length of an alpaca cria (which is a baby alpaca and about 3 feet long) between you and the next person.
Have a blessed day!
