Daily Reflections From My Window

November 18, 2020 Wednesday

If you’re reading this, I hope God opens incredible doors for your life this year. Greatness is upon you. You must believe it though.

I have to make this short. No lollygagging for me this AM. I’ll be on my way to Altoona in a bit and have to go, but I know that these days, I’m talking to my friends through these posts and I hope I am putting something inspirational out there for them.

So today we have snow and by Friday it’s back into the 60s. I’m starting to like the 60s.

And then I heard we have some new requirements? Like masks indoors-while hooping? Who will enforce that? Just asking?

Snow on the alpacas.

The flakes of snow were so big yesterday that they looked like the salt you scatter on the road. See how thick (dense) this fiber is? He’s totally dry underneath. Amazes me every time!

The snow came and went all day but stuck more in some places than others.

Today I’m filming a segment for Around the Alleghenies in Altoona. The theme is New Years on a budget using what you have already to celebrate. Seems like that’s what we did growing up so that’s the story. And I’m sticking to it. I’ll be showing how to make a balloon drop with a plastic tablecloth.

It was fun making it-a LONG TIME AGO!

Alpacas. Naturally social distancing.

Remember to wash your hands, don’t touch your face, stay home but if you MUST go out, wear a mask and keep the length of a full grown llama (which is bigger than an alpaca) between you and the next person.

Have a blessed day!
