Yesterday I spent a few hours in the AM and then a few hours in the afternoon in Zoom meetings. That was a first! Then I spent the rest of the day, in between, on fiber which I loved. I’m leaning more in that direction these days. We were treated to chili that Madison made for us and it was delicious! I was heating it up and decided to implement one of those kitchen hacks entitled “You’ve Been Using These Things All Wrong”, about putting your stirring utensil in the handle of the pot. It worked! But what if what you are stirring is more liquid? I’ll let you know when I try it again.
We finished the night by watching “Free Solo”, the story of Alex Honnold and his climbing skills. My takeaway- they discovered that his limbic system (where emotions are stored) is inactive. That’s what my doctor is working on with me. I’m not climbing any sheer rock faces. Ever. Watch it. It’s interesting and frightening.
I’ve got to wrap this up because I have another Zoom meeting at 8 AM.
